Students will start to create their sculpture using a block of solid clay. Focusing on creating the overall size and shape and the block of clay makes it very user friendly. The block is dried out slightly, ready to carve out from.

The sculpture will grow over several classes, and we will continue to explore other sculpting shapes and sizes as the classes go on.

 We sculpt using air-dry clay, which means you can take your piece home without delay. You will be provided with a wooden base giving you a solid foundation to develop your character on.
